I Am Hopping Mad and It IS About Time I tell Y'all About It

My Dear Readers (well, the few of you that still drop by here because "regular posting" is just something that isn't happening since WMD has "taken off"),

Ordinarily, I'd find a way to put this post on WMD, but I really don't think it fits there and I've always said that I would write here what I won't there. So here goes.

Last Tuesday, Sean Hannity's new book, Deliver Us From Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism and Liberalism came out. And I made sure I got my copy right away. It is a real page turner...I highly recommend it. The more I read (and I finished over the weekend), the angrier and angrier I got. I am really angry with liberal hamsters right now. Especially the ones who are running for President (or thinking about, Hillary). Kerry is not fit to lead this country; he doesn't take national security seriously and sure isn't interested in making sure that our military has the right tools or training. We've been holding back on WMD (the blog and the show) because we think it best to wait until Terry McAwful crowns him the nominee, but Kerry has a record. And it is not a good record. This guy is the best they can muster for a presidential race?

Yesterday, the Preseident announced that he would support an amendment to the Constitution that would protect the sanctity of marriage. A worthy goal. One I support, even though I am not married and not likely to get married. A line must drawn SOMEWHERE and for me, that line must be drawn here. Popular culture has degraded our society enough with gangsta rap, foul language and soft-core porn halftime shows. Enough is enough. Those of you who know me personally know that I am by far not a prude; but really, things have gone too far. I'm no moral-minded, high-road-taking do-gooder, but I have standards of what I find acceptable. And I don't think a court in Massachusetts or a mayor in San Francisco has the right to impose their will on me or my state (Ohio just passed a fine law banning gay marriage). The only way to protect ourselves is with a Constitutional amendment. Self patrolling isn't getting it done anymore because the liberals have hijacked the media. The actions of the few is becoming a danger to us all. That isn't fear-mongering, as the hamsters will try to paint it. Our very way of life in this country is changing and it is about time we stop a minute and decide if this is really what we want.

I participate in the discussions on a number of blogs and all of them seem to have gone off the deep end on this issue.

Liberal activists are pushing moderate conservatives farther right with their tactics and they get all pissed off when they feel the backlash. Boo-frickin'-hoo! Y'all brought this upon yourselves. A majority of the American people do not support gay marriage. So rather than try to work it through the legislature, the gay community decided that they'd take their chances with the courts, who have been easily tempted to engage in judicial activism.

NOW is the time for the American people to cry out in a loud voice that enough is enough.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled chaos...

Rumor has it...

...that MLB and Bud Selig have approved a deal hat would send A-Rod to the Yankees for Alphonzo Soriano...

Doesn't ANYBODY want to beat these guys anymore? A-Rod rejected offers from New York when he left Seattle because he wanted to beat them not join them. What changed?

I suppose all that losing in Texas would do that to you...
